Adaptation de Webcomic - ReaperxReaper
This is the adaptation of a two-page webcomic called ReaperxReaper. Trying to adapt it to an animated format was very interesting.
When the author of the webcomic comissionned me for this project, he gave me free reign for the animation. The only mandatory things were to follow the webcomic and to keep the mood intact.
The process
Here are the two pages in question.
I largely kept the same layout for the different cuts, and it worked pretty well. The real adaptation work came in the rythm of the cuts and the animation work itself.
I started by making the 3D environment, on which I roughly sticked parts of the webcomic in order to figure out the rythm, like shown in the video below.
Takeaway
I had a lot of fun with this commission and hope to have more opportunities like this one in the future.
